Last week some wonderful co-workers hosted a baby shower for J and I. It was a lot of fun! Everything they made for lunch was vegetarian and so delicious!
Here are the decorations that my friend and co-worker, Julie, made!
Judy was the organizer (left) and Ann (right) planned the game and activity!
Here we are!
Look at how cute everything was!
And here's Julie with more decorations... she made those baby blocks out of cardboard and paper! I LOVE them!
We got so many nice things and we had a great time!

Semester at Sea -- Oh the memories!
Semester at Sea LipDub Ship Tour from Semester at Sea on Vimeo.
For those of you who have know us for awhile, you know how formative our time on Semester at Sea was when we were in college. Not only did we make some lifetime friends, we saw and got to experience some incredible things.
This lipdub takes you throughout the entire ship. It feels a tad like going home. I love it, but it makes me miss it and that experience and those people. What a marvelous experience! Enjoy!

31 Weeks
How far along? 31 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 7 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Sleep: Sleeping pretty comfortably, still. Up a lot to go to the bathroom, flipping over a lot, crazy dreams and lots and lots of pillows to make me sleep. I think I take up a good queen sized bed by myself with all my pillows, blankies and dogs I need to be able to sleep soundly.
Best moment this week: Hanging out with the Selmer's all last weekend!! And, touring the hospital!
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my belly! Iced Tea!
Movement: Yes! I think he's going to come charging straight out sometimes.
Food cravings: Egg McMuffins and McD's cheeseburgers with extra pickles and onions and no meat.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Have you started to show yet: Yes.
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Flat as a pancake.
Wedding rings on or off? I can only wear my wedding band at this point!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but tired!
Looking forward to: A baby shower for our little guy and a Brown family holiday celebration! Should be fun times! I hope I have energy!!

Making it Real!
I can hardly wait to meet our little guy! His room is filling up, his space in my belly is filling up and he is getting stronger every day. But nothing, and I mean nothing, has made it more REAL than our weekend activities.
We installed the car seat in the Blazer and the additional base in my car. It is such a reminder everytime we look in the back and see his little car seat that soon soon soon we'll have someone to put in there!
On Sunday night, we took our hospital OB tour. It is quite a long walk to Labor and Delivery so J and I joked continually about how fun it will be with me having 3-4 minute apart contractions driving our 21 minutes to the hospital and then walking the long corridors to L&D. Haha!
In all seriousness though, the visit really made this real. I will birth my little guy in one of those rooms. One of those kind nurses will help me along the way to transition my baby boy to life smoothly and seamlessly. When we talked about those first few moments with my son, I got really emotional. I just absolutely cannot wait to meet him and love on him and watch J love on him. We talk about it all the time. I know he still needs to get bigger and stronger, but I am so excited, so ready.
