Ginger

Mr Tech Guy and I had a date night at Ginger. What a treat?! f you ever find yourself in Guanacaste, make the trip to Ginger. It is set back from the road, almost built in the side of a tree. The wait staff is unbelievably kind and attentive. The food is outrageously yummy (for all taste buds) and while it may be a tad pricey, it really isn't that expensive.

It was a fun night to get away just for a bit. Just the two of us. Daredevil has been a bit fussy --- I think he either hasn't been getting enough sleep or he's working on his 2 yr molars... so it was nice to get away.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The food is tapas-style so we had a lot to try. Here's what we enjoyed.

French Fries
Filet Mignon
Pulled pork lettuce wrap with ginger sauce
Chicken strips
Vegetable stir-fry (tasted like japanese pan noodles from noodles & co)
Baked potato bites

Then we ordered up dessert to take back to the whole troop.

Pavlova
Cheesecake (lime, ginger and macadamian nut) <--- amazing="" it="" p="" was="">Pineapple strudel with coconut gelato
Milk and Cookies (vanilla panna cotta and three homemade cookies)
Mini chocolate dulche de leche bar

We scarfed them down so fast that I didn't even get a picture of the milk and cookies and the pineapple strudel. If you ever find yourself in Guanacaste, make the trip to Ginger.
