27 years ago today, my mom gave me the most precious gift in the world, the gift of life. Thanks, Mom. I feel like I should celebrate you today.
Since we're out of the country today, on my birthday, Jared gave me a gift early. Last week he took me on a beautiful evening stroll around a local park that is full of 4-12 ft tall blooming sunflowers. I love sunflowers and being surrounded by so many was incredible. It was breath-taking and full of moments I'll treasure.
Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday Dear Me, Happy Birthday to Me! My husband knows me so well.
Also, I saw something in the fields that reminded me to always dare to stand out in a crowd and to cherish my own uniqueness. What a gift? How did you celebrate your birthday this year?
If you're in the Madison area, you have to check our Pope Farm Park off of Old Sauk Rd in Middleton. You won't be sorry you did. Go soon while they are still blooming!
