CAPE COD

Today we left Newport and headed for the Cape. I spent much of the drive in oohing and aahhing. We landed at Woods Hole, MA, to head into Martha's Vineyard. Once on the vineyard we decided to take a full island sightseeing tour because we wanted to explore more than just Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The tour was great... the guide was real and honest about living on the island including the celebrities, the tourists, the winters, etc. We really enjoyed seeing the celebrity homes of Tom Clancy, James Taylor and the guy who owns Norton of Norton Antivirus. The sites were incredible, too, with plenty of old New England homes, cliffs and beaches. Absolutely beautiful!

When we got back to the Cape we started our scenic trek to Provincetown (affectionately called P-town). The drive was fantastic all by itself. P-town was stunning as well with a really thriving and diverse population. We had a great evening: walking along the beach, walking along the pier, looking (and buying) some beautiful photography, walking on the main drag and having a nice dinner on the water.

Fantastic day on the Cape!
